From the Nürburgring race track to Tony Stark’s garage, the Audi R8 is one of the most loved and obsessed over supercars in the world. Sadly, after two decades, the icon was set to be retired. So how do you create a farewell film that truly does justice to million and millions of fans? You let them direct it. Using a series of Instagram polls, we gave Audi’s 17 million social followers total creative control over the film that would bid the R8 goodbye. Over a month, they decided shots, angles, maneuvers, music and everything else. Letting go of creative control has never been more fun.
